Two-dimensional electrophoresis was used to compare and analyse proteins extracted from leaves of two citrus tri-haploids (homozygous) and their original diploid parent (heterozygous). The two tri-haploids were regenerated through in vitro anther culture of Citrus clementina Hort. ex Tan. 'Nules' (Germanà et al., 2005). Through the proteomic approach, hundreds of proteins were simultaneously separated and identified. Their proteomic profiles were analyzed and compared on the basis of the presence/absence of spots. Remarkable protein differences were observed in a qualitative quantitative approach among the three genotypes.

Abstract
Two-dimensional electrophoresis was used to compare and analyse proteins extracted from leaves of two citrus tri-haploids (homozygous) and their original diploid parent (heterozygous). The two tri-haploids were regenerated through in vitro anther culture of Citrus clementina Hort. ex Tan. 'Nules' (Germanà et al., 2005). Through the proteomic approach, hundreds of proteins were simultaneously separated and identified. Their proteomic profiles were analyzed and compared on the basis of the presence/absence of spots. Remarkable protein differences were observed in a qualitative quantitative approach among the three genotypes.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
