La politica agraria per il biologico in Sicilia: un'ipotesi di conversione per le aziende ad indirizzo cerealicolo-foraggero

In the current programming period (2007-2013), in the context of Sicilian RDP (Rural Development Plan), the measure 214 1 / B promotes the organic cultivation method. In this paper, starting from the intervention of the public operator in the organic sector, it has been verified the economic convenience to adopt this method of cultivation in some hilly areas of the province of Palermo, where there are many cereal and fodder production farms. The analysis shows that the intervention of the legislator in this sector could improve the gross profitability of the studied crops (also increasing the net income of entrepreneur), promoting an agriculture more environmentally
