In November 2023, the second phase of intervention research in the high school began. The students (n. 113) of the fifth year of a Sicilian institute have completed a 30-hour guidance path consisting in participating in some activities related to didactics for guidance (12 h), four monthly sessions on expressive writing (2 h), four monthly guidance interviews (4 h) and the creation of a digital portfolio (12 h) to improve, in addition to the degree of clarity of ideas about career choices, four soft skills that influence the maturation process of the professional life project that involves career choice: perceived general self-efficacy, image of oneself, decision-making skills and perception of professional adaptability. The initial characteristics observed in two groups of participants (an experimental group and a control group) after making the first detection at the end of November 2023 are presented here.
