This paper aims at examining the impact of eTwinning experience on empowering future teachers’ intercultural awareness within two different international eTwinning projects. The first project “What kind of World do we want?” has been given start in October 2021 and apart from University of Palermo it involves two different universities from Turkey. The second project “Qualified teacher of the future” has had its start in November with German, French and Turkish partner universities. The very first results underlines the importance of equipping students with twenty-first century skills and the important role eTwinning plays in this, as well as indicating main challenges which need to be addressed to enhance globalisation as a dynamic concept.
