This study investigates the sexual composition of Chamaerops humilis populations in Mediterranean coastal vegetation of Sicily. It examines how vegetation structure, floristic composition and traditional anthropogenic activities may influence the frequency of sexual forms and the reproductive expression of the dwarf palm, within the framework of the PRIN 2022 PNRR “CHAMPION” project.
