This study examines the correspondence between O. Myšanyč and M. Kovač, published in 2024 by the «Ruske Slovo». In order to describe the community’s image, the use of ethnonyms such as «Ukrainian», «Rusyn», «Rusnak», and others in the letters of these two figures is analyzed. It has been found that the use of these terms is often determined by the stylistic of the correspondents. The article analyzes all the quotes present in the correspondence.
