El periodismo como espacio de resistencia ideológica; La producción crítica de Rosario Ferré en Zona de carga y descarga

This study analyzes Rosario Ferré’s journalistic work in Zona de Carga y Descarga, a magazine co-founded in 1970 with Olga Nolla and conceived as a space of intersection between literature and politics. Through the examination of selected issues, the study explores how Ferré articulated a critical discourse in favor of independence, feminism, and the anti-colonial struggle, in direct opposition to the ideological stance of her father, Luis A. Ferré, an advocate for Puerto Rico’s annexation to the United States. For the author, journalism served as a means of asserting her insurgent identity and her commitment to social transformation, expanding her literary practice beyond conventional boundaries.
