This paper presents a performance comparison for a W-band Folded Waveguide Traveling Wave Tube (FWTWT) operating at 13.3 kV, using circular and square electron beams. Simulations conducted by CST Studio Suite ™ reveal that the square beam configuration offers superior performance, achieving a saturated output power of 78 W, a 1 dB bandwidth of 5 GHz, a gain of 41.8 dB, and an efficiency of 5%.

Abstract
