The effects of climate change are putting all forms of life on Earth at risk. Global greenhouse gas emissions, rampant environmental degradation, and disregarded planning policies by different governance — at various levels — have significantly affected the fragility of natural and anthropic ecosystems. In this study we will look at some of the world’s cities that are already tackling climate challenges through good urban ecological practices.
