La morte come testimonianza dell’essere nel pensiero dell’"Ereignis"

The purpose of this article is to conduct an analysis of the concept of death in Heidegger’s nonpublic writings on the event between 1936 and 1942. The reflection on "Ereignis" matures starting from the turning that Heidegger makes with respect to the linguistic and speculative framework of "Sein und Zeit". My aim is to try to understand how death as the most proper possibility of being-there, comes to assume the role of testimony (Zeugnis) of being itself as "Ereignis", and this starting from the reconfiguration more radical of the relationship between being and being-there in terms of appropriation (Ereignung). Furthermore, from this indication of death as a testimony of being I would like try to develop the idea according to which Heidegger, through the concept of "Ereignis", in continuity with "Sein und Zeit" and indeed in an even more decisive way, wants to highlight the fact that being is the existence.
