The paper deals with the facial recognition tool, in relation to criminal proceedings. Firstly, the Author considers the functioning and the delicate systematic framing of the mechanism in question. Following that, she focuses on the main solutions adopted in this context by the ECtHR and their influence on the supranational and domestic discussion.
