Today, digital writing seems to have taken on a new meaning despite the fact that schools continue to maintain a detachment from technology, leading young people to live their private lives immersed in the digital world and contrasting it with school life, characterised by traditional writing (Prensky, 2001). Technologies represent a store of skills and competences for facing today’s challenges and exercising active citizenship (Alessandrini, 2007). They go beyond the transmissive form of information to fit into an educational space that goes beyond the classroom context and promotes lifelong learning, as called for in Agenda 2030. This contribution presents the pilot investigation that characterised the design of the EdEn-Med CambiaStile APP, which offers secondary school students the opportunity to acquire the contents of the 2030 Agenda and of the main environmental issues contained in the pedagog-ical-didactic guide addressed to teachers, both created within the transnational Italy-Tunisia project, which ended in December 2023 and in which Unipa was a partner. The aim of the APP is to make the theoretical contents and critical issues identified by the experts more usable and practically feasible. In order to guarantee the reliability and validity of the contents and activities proposed by the app, 26 secondary school teachers from Agrigento who participated in the EdEn-Med project were involved
