Abstract. On the basis of simple considerations of Elementary Logic, in this brief note we try to identify a possible common point between the unconscious notions according to Carl Gustav Jung and Claude Lévi-Strauss, which can turn out to be useful for some subsequently specula-tions on mathematical reasoning (as, for instance, those concerning the possible origins of the rational thought).
