In the contradictions of the present and the uncertainty of the future, a new alliance between architecture and nature

The contemporary debate on Antropocene, post-human, literary Darwinism, ecocriticism, etc. imposes today a radical reflection on the categories with which to re-read and rethink the relationship between man and nature, that in the past the relationship architecture-nature has expressed in an extraordinary way. All this makes uncertain the future – of people and communities, of man and of the planet, of beauty itself – and calls for a general commitment in the way of thinking and working, in the definition of lifestyles, of models of social and economic development; this responsibility also includes a renewed sensitivity of the architectural project that invests everyone.
