The paper describes some aspects regarding the interrelationships between the Institutions working in Sicily in the field of Cultural Heritage (Parks, Universities, Superintendencies), trying to highlight both the positive and negative aspects, the latter emphasized by the very small number of archaeologists in the Administration of the Sicily Region.
