Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common tumor that arise within the oral cavity [1]. In order to improve the quality of life, convert inoperable tumors into operable as well as to ameliorate the locoregional tumor control and long survival rate, the majority of patients are treated with chemotherapy [2]. Systemic chemotherapy regimen appears efficient locally and in the subsumed prevention of metastatic spread, but it is associated with severe toxicity and morbidity potentially relevant to the survival rate
