After the introduction of the case method in USA by Cristopher Columbus Landell in Harvard Law School, teaching of law expanded its tools as an evolution of this extraordinary new method which jointed the scientific study of law to a casuistic approach aimed to discover the actually applied rules in Court cases. Between these developments of the Landellian case method, the case study method is more of a problem -solving approach to learning. The business school case method presents students with real-life problems, used to identify issues that could occur within the operation of a business.

Abstract
