In his book "Bach and Prince: Parallel Lives (Einaudi 2021) the composer and conductor Carlo Boccadoro compares in a very original way certain aspects of the modus operandi of two artists at the antipodes such as J.S. Bach (1685-1550) the rock-star Prince (1958-2016). The review develops some of the themes presented in the book with particular reference to the luck and misfortune of their works after death.
Nel suo volume "Bach e Prince: Vite parallele (Einaudi 2021) il compositore e direttore d'orchestra Carlo Boccadoro confronta in maniera molto originale certi aspetti del modus operandi di due artisti agli antipodi come J.S. Bach (1685-1550) la rock-star Prince (1958-2016). La recensione sviluppa alcuni dei temi presentati nel libro con particolare riferimento alla fortuna e sfortuna delle loro opere dopo la morte.
