Making architecture presupposes the search for a new story in the continuity of history, practicing the most intimate memory of things, re-establishing relationships with the space of the present. Thus the restoration of a building elaborates the dialogue between time and space in the stratification of the construction, revealing its irreducible and permanent meanings. The project reads and interprets, searches for traces, makes space between things. It shows the destructive action of man and time, the dramatic deformations. Use the gap to insinuate a new discourse with the present.

Fare architettura presuppone la ricerca di un racconto nuovo nella continuità della storia, praticare la memoria più intima delle cose, ristabilire relazioni con lo spazio del presente. Così il restauro di un edificio elabora il dialogo tra tempo e spazio nella stratificazione della costruzione, svelandone i significati irriducibili e permanenti. Il progetto legge e interpreta, ricerca tracce, si fa spazio tra le cose. Mostra l’azione distruttiva dell’uomo e del tempo, le drammatiche deformazioni. Sfrutta l’interstizio per insinuarvi un discorso nuovo con il presente.
