In Italy abusiveness story is well known. It started with the rebuilding after the war. A destroyed and poor nation where the so called “needful abusiveness” dominated, it was often linked to the so called economical buildings, with the urgency to build the roof as to practically avoids demolition risk. And with the interest to escape also from the growing tax imposition on houses. We add to all this the contemporary phenomenon of urbanization that voided countries and asked for more living spaces in town, with the consequent building boom. Anyway, from the building by those who were directly interested, we passed very soon to real building speculation phenomena, sometimes possible thanks to the pleasance or to the guilty omission of controls by authorities working for prevention and illegality repression.

Abstract
In Italy abusiveness story is well known. It started with the rebuilding after the war. A destroyed and poor nation where the so called “needful abusiveness” dominated, it was often linked to the so called economical buildings, with the urgency to build the roof as to practically avoids demolition risk. And with the interest to escape also from the growing tax imposition on houses. We add to all this the contemporary phenomenon of urbanization that voided countries and asked for more living spaces in town, with the consequent building boom. Anyway, from the building by those who were directly interested, we passed very soon to real building speculation phenomena, sometimes possible thanks to the pleasance or to the guilty omission of controls by authorities working for prevention and illegality repression.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
