This study is a point of view on experimentations made by De Stijl group about architecture through the analysis of an unbuilt work, the Hôtel particulièr, designed in 1923 by Cornelis van Eesteren and Theo van Doesburg. Research about De Stijl have already traced the critical path of the Dutch movement but this study wants to investigate a project, within the existing bibliography, remained into the fixity of its representations and never explored through the drawing’s tool, that is an interpretative and critical act of architecture involving, translating and transcribing the idea.

Questo studio è un punto di vista sulle sperimentazioni condotte dal gruppo De Stijl sull’architettura attraverso l’analisi di un’opera mai realizzata, l’Hôtel particulièr progettato nel 1923 da Cornelis van Eesteren e Theo van Doesburg. Gli studi su De Stijl hanno già tracciato il percorso critico del movimento olandese ma questo lavoro vuole indagare un progetto che è rimasto, nella bibliografia esistente, nella fissità delle sue rappresentazioni e mai indagato attraverso lo strumento del disegno, atto interpretativo e critico dell’architettura che comprende, traduce e trascrive l’idea.
