Light, like the other elements of ‘fire’, together with ‘earth’, ‘wind’ and ‘water’ constitute the points of reflection upon which are based the research and activities of INBAR- the National Institute of BioArchitecture - that, with its first BioLaboratorio entitled “Let’s catch the Sun” held Alcamo on 12.10.2012, saw the participation of various experts and academics in this field of study, chaired by the President of the Scientific Committee of INBAR , based in Trapani, Prof. G. De Giovanni. In particular, the contribution of E. W. Angelico has made an intense impact on the various forms of lights; between the natural and artificial; between the direct and indirect; between illuminated artefacts and luminous artefacts. Architecture often endows every action in direct proportion, light with the space - both for illumination (therefore, designed in relation to its dark and light) and to be luminous (therefore indicating the relationship between external and internal). La luce, come alternativo elemento al ‘fuoco’ insieme a ‘terra’, ‘vento’ e ‘acqua’ costituiscono i punti di riflessione nel cui intorno indagano le ricerche e le azioni dell’INBAR -Istituto Nazionale di BioARchitettura- che con il primo BioLaboratorio dal titolo “Catturiamo il Sole”, tenutosi presso Alcamo, 12.10.2012, ha visto la partecipazione di vari studiosi ed esperti di settore, moderati dal Presidente del Comitato Scientifico INBAR Sezione di Trapani, Prof. G. De Giovanni. In particolare, il contributo di E. W. Angelico ha inteso indagare sulle varie forme della luce: fra naturale e artificiale, diretta e indiretta. L’Architettura si dota spesso di ogni azione volta a porre in giusta relazione la luce con lo spazio, sia per illuminare (quindi disegnare attraverso i suoi chiaroscuri), sia per essere luminosa (quindi segnare il rapporto fra esterno e interno). Alcuni esempi daranno forza all’efficacia della luce in un percorso dal ‘naturale’ all’‘artificiale’ e viceversa, sino alla sua ‘assenza’.
