This paper deals with the relation between phenomenology and the psychology of perception. In the first part of the paper I will present some basic assumptions qualifying the investigation of perception in the fields of theoretical (pure) phenomenology and so-called experimental phenomenology. Next, I will deepen the analysis taking into account the specific concept of perception proper to Edmund Husserl’s phenomenology and a de- flationary concept of perception compatible with a psychological perspective in order to shine light on the pos- sibility of an integrative approach to perception which aims to unify the phenomenological and the psychologi- cal analyses while fully respecting their particularities. In the last part of the paper I will try to present some commonalities between Edmund Husserl’s phenomenological analysis of perception and the investigation of perception developed by Paolo Bozzi and Cesare Musatti from a psychological point of view.

Abstract
In the last part of the paper I will try to present some commonalities between Edmund Husserl’s phenomenological analysis of perception and the investigation of perception developed by Paolo Bozzi and Cesare Musatti from a psychological point of view.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
