This case study interprets the site by examining a highly significant architectural design process that imbues a complex natural and urban context with new spatial values. Resting points, imbued with a dreamlike quality, create a "path" leading from the Capo Marchiafava bastion to the "postierla" (gate) and back - a narrative sequence that clearly reveals a circulation strategy that remains fully discernible today. Realized with limited resources, conceived as a public outdoor space, and developed through a systemic approach, this architectural intervention takes on paradigmatic significance. In this regard, the project by Culotta and Leone stands as an emblematic example, perfectly interpreting the theme of "Architecture and Place" - the subject of the 25th edition of the Camerino seminar (2025). The work explores how the condition of urban space can be rethought and improved, restoring value and distinctiveness to the places where we live through the act of architectural design.
