Oltre la post-verità. Verità e gestione del conflitto nella società contemporanea

The essay studies, also through historical comparison (ancient Greece, modern and postmodern democracy), certain discursive modes and illustrates the current crisis – which should not in itself be viewed negatively – concerning the notions of truth, objectivity, reality, and fact. The analysis of other conceptions of truth offers the possibility of glimpsing a paradigm different from the dominant one and suggests practical ways to manage the conflict between truths through effective communication, without resigning oneself to a passive attitude or verbal violence.
