Collective catering is one of the most pervasive yet least examined forms of contemporary eating. Present in workplaces, educational institutions, healthcare settings, and care and welfare facilities, it structures our everyday food practices while also helping to organize the times and spaces of daily life. Through contributions that bring together semiotics, aesthetics, philosophy, and service design, this book—which presents the findings of the PRIN 2022 project Collectivi a Tavola (COLTA)—investigates collective catering, showing how complex political and social dynamics are articulated around it.

Abstract
Collective catering is one of the most pervasive yet least examined forms of contemporary eating. Present in workplaces, educational institutions, healthcare settings, and care and welfare facilities, it structures our everyday food practices while also helping to organize the times and spaces of daily life. Through contributions that bring together semiotics, aesthetics, philosophy, and service design, this book—which presents the findings of the PRIN 2022 project Collectivi a Tavola (COLTA)—investigates collective catering, showing how complex political and social dynamics are articulated around it.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
