The co-responsibility between schools and families has an articulated history that allows us to highlight its resources, limits and new possibilities for expan sion. The national and international literature shows how reflecting on possible ways of building educational alliances between schools and families means lo oking at the multiple actors of co-responsibility and its various declinations. In this scenario, the paper aims to present a narrative review on a specific aspect: the link between intergenerational relations and educational co-responsibility, with a focus on the role of grandparents. The themes identified in the review show an ever-increasing involvement of grandparents in the education of their grandchildren, who are often also interlocutors of schools and services. However, educational institutions often don’t promote an active participation of grandpa rents. Their presence needs more careful pedagogical reflection, which should be developed together with that on parents. This study aims to explore the possibility of parent educational support, promoted by educators and/or teachers as possible facilitators of educational co-responsibility with families, also involving grandparents. Such educational pathways can promote the role of families in the redefinition of educational care between generations and between educational communities.

Abstract
Such educational pathways can promote the role of families in the redefinition of educational care between generations and between educational communities.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
