This paper presents the outcomes of a four-year investigation delving into the phenomenon of youth engagement within the context of the Lebanese Revolution of 2019 and its ramifications on the socio-economic fabric. Employing analytical methods, the research scrutinizes the pivotal role assumed by young individuals across multifaceted dimensions, encompassing sectarian affiliations, educational attainments, and the accrual of human and social capital pivotal for migration decisions. Despite witnessing an initial surge of revolutionary zeal, the impetus for systemic reform gradually diminishes, leaving in its wake a palpable political void. This pervasive disillusionment among the youth precipitates cycles of recrimination within diasporic communities, thereby influencing cultural expressions. Furthermore, socio-economic disparities serve to constrain migration opportunities predominantly to select privileged cohorts, thereby exacerbating societal fissures. However, acknowledging the youth as a primary catalyst for change, in driving economic, social, and structural metamorphoses, fosters optimistic outlooks, both within Lebanon and among its diasporic extensions.

Abstract
However, acknowledging the youth as a primary catalyst for change, in driving economic, social, and structural metamorphoses, fosters optimistic outlooks, both within Lebanon and among its diasporic extensions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
