The essay presents an analysis and interpretation of several architectural drawings dating to the second half of the eighteenth century, preserved in the parish archive of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Adrano, a small town on the north-western slopes of Mount Etna. Despite the heterogeneous nature of the drawings, their fragmentary condition, and the absence of related documentary sources, they constitute important evidence for the construction history of the building.
