This paper aims to analyze Nancy Fraser's theses on recognition and related gender issues. In particular, it will highlight the differences with Habermas's critical approach and the connections with Honneth's social philosophy. Fraser's reflections on gender combine both economic and ethical-social elements. This makes her theory of justice an alternative to both culturalist and materialist theories.

Abstract
This paper aims to analyze Nancy Fraser's theses on recognition and related gender issues. In particular, it will highlight the differences with Habermas's critical approach and the connections with Honneth's social philosophy. Fraser's reflections on gender combine both economic and ethical-social elements. This makes her theory of justice an alternative to both culturalist and materialist theories.File in questo prodotto:
