Il Trittico: tra rappresentazione e Progetto. Il ruolo del disegno nel rapporto tra paesi etnei e substrato lavico

The current paper proposes an advancement of the ongoing research project, which questions the meaning of the unexpected urban stratifications, due to catastrophic events of anthropic or natural origin with consequent accumulation of matter. Specifically, the intention is to investigate the use of representation as a tool capable of narrating the relationship between urban fabric and stratification of volcanic origin in the cities around Mount Etna, through a comparison with the design dimension of Schinkel’s drawing – capable of rendering reality in a representation of its truest nature, and not of what it exactly is.
