This study explores the potential of Living Labs as tools for territorial regeneration and social innovation in Sicily’s inner areas, analyzing the challenges related to their sustainability and management. Through a methodological approach based on territorial analyses, co-design, and stakeholder engagement, the research highlights how Living Labs can transform into collaborative platforms for enhancing local resources and promoting participatory planning. The research aims to propose the establishment of a Regional Department for Living Labs and the development of a widespread network of Innovation Hubs to overcome current operational barriers.
