Los presupuestos con perspectiva de género en las administraciones públicas italianas : límites y desafíos jurídicos

Gender budgeting represents a strategic tool for public administrations to adopt policies aimed at promoting gender equality, in line with sustainable development goal No. 5 of the 2030 Agenda. The effective integration of a gender perspective into public budgets requires, as a prerequisite, a solid regu- latory framework that provides clear guidelines for ad- ministrations. Therefore, this paper aims to reconstruct the Italian reg- ulatory framework on gender budgeting, highlighting the legal provisions in force at different political-admin- istrative levels— State, Regions and Local authorities —and underscoring the legal limits and challenges faced by these administrations.
