Le Cooperative di Comunità come custodi della memoria urbana: la Sicilia e la Cooperativa di Comunità Identità e Bellezza.

This paper analyses the role of Community Cooperatives in valorising urban memory through participatory practices that combine tradition and innovation. Based on an empirical survey among Sicilian cooperatives, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, it explores the case of Sciacca, showing how territorial identity can become a lever for regeneration and sustainable development. The expected outcome is to highlight the transformative potential of cooperatives in strengthening the awareness of place and promoting innovative models of heritage management.
