Statuto, referenzialità e cristallizzazione dell’antropotoponimo: un’indagine sui processi toponimici nella percezione dello spazio

The paper conducts a comparative analysis between ethnotexts in order to investigate the reasons why an anthroponym can crystallize into a place name. This happens for ownership reasons; for frequenting the place, which becomes salient in the perception of the territory; for reasons related to anecdotal, commemoration or ergological issues, when an element of the territory acquires the name of whoever built it. The analysis of the collected data made it possible to study the processes of deixis and to observe the uses of prepositions in co-occurrence with anthropotoponyms for which the semantic value of the original surname is permanent in the memory of the speakers.
