This chapter will illustrate how a dynamic and systems approach to performance management & governance may support decision- makers in framing public service delivery and assessing the sustainability of community value creation. We argue that assessing sustainable performance in public service delivery needs framing the nested dimensions (‘value- in- exchange,’ ‘value- inproduction,’ ‘value- in- context,’ and ‘value- in- society’) underlying value creation processes in relation to a set of interrelated performance viewpoints: i.e., ‘field,’ ‘object,’ and ‘service span.’

Abstract
This chapter will illustrate how a dynamic and systems approach to performance management & governance may support decision- makers in framing public service delivery and assessing the sustainability of community value creation. We argue that assessing sustainable performance in public service delivery needs framing the nested dimensions (‘value- in- exchange,’ ‘value- inproduction,’ ‘value- in- context,’ and ‘value- in- society’) underlying value creation processes in relation to a set of interrelated performance viewpoints: i.e., ‘field,’ ‘object,’ and ‘service span.’| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
