When we talk about feminism, we think of a secular, even secularist phenomenon, with cultural roots that are different and often antithetical to Christianity. Underlying this belief, which in our opinion still persists today, is the idea that the Catholic Church, in its magisterial and hierarchical sense, did not share most of the demands put forward between the 1960s and 1980s by the feminist movement for the liberation/emancipation of women. In the face of this opposition between the feminist movement and the Catholic Church on the basis of certain categories, a Christian feminism has existed and developed over time.

Abstract
When we talk about feminism, we think of a secular, even secularist phenomenon, with cultural roots that are different and often antithetical to Christianity. Underlying this belief, which in our opinion still persists today, is the idea that the Catholic Church, in its magisterial and hierarchical sense, did not share most of the demands put forward between the 1960s and 1980s by the feminist movement for the liberation/emancipation of women. In the face of this opposition between the feminist movement and the Catholic Church on the basis of certain categories, a Christian feminism has existed and developed over time.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
