La protección Jurídica del menor en el contexto de la sociedad digital

The legal protection of minors constitutes a matter of concern for public authorities and society as a whole, reflecting a collective interest in addressing situations of abuse or violence against children and adolescents. The social alarm generated, in part, by media reports on certain violent acts committed against minors, requires the adoption of measures aimed at eradicating this social scourge. In the digital era, minors are exposed to a wide range of online content and experiences that may have a significant impact on their well-being. For these reasons, the legal protection of minors within the context of the digital society represents an issue of great importance and relevance today. The present study aims to analyse the legal instruments for the protection of minors from both a European and a Spanish perspective. In particular, it will examine mediation as an extrajudicial conflict resolution mechanism, which plays a crucial role in matters concerning minors.
