A special section, “Revisiting the Slow Food Movement: Heritage, Innovation, and Sustainability in Alternative Food Networks,” explores the dynamic interplay between cultural heritage and innovation in promoting sustainable food practices. Beyond its scientific content, this issue marks two important milestones in the journal’s history: its inclusion in the Web of Science and the appointment of Valeria Borsellino and Søren Marcus Pedersen as the new Editors-in-Chief, starting with Issue 1/2025.
