This chapter offers an immersion in the experience of co-authoring we shared during two writing retreats in a home by the sea in Sardinia. It is a narration from intimate moments when, as precarious transfeminist researchers, we explored the entanglement of our academic and political positionalities with our friendship. We recognise in the feminist co-authoring shared between friends a tool to care and resist the individualisation and isolation of the neoliberal academia. We envisage this form of co-authorship as a way to acknowledge forms of oppression reproduced by the academia, and a reflexive practice to prevent us from reproducing it. Therefore, we advance the hypothesis that co-authoring could turn into a political practice to resist the potential oppressor that lies within us, and to fight it, trying to not become bad.

Abstract
This chapter offers an immersion in the experience of co-authoring we shared during two writing retreats in a home by the sea in Sardinia. It is a narration from intimate moments when, as precarious transfeminist researchers, we explored the entanglement of our academic and political positionalities with our friendship. We recognise in the feminist co-authoring shared between friends a tool to care and resist the individualisation and isolation of the neoliberal academia. We envisage this form of co-authorship as a way to acknowledge forms of oppression reproduced by the academia, and a reflexive practice to prevent us from reproducing it. Therefore, we advance the hypothesis that co-authoring could turn into a political practice to resist the potential oppressor that lies within us, and to fight it, trying to not become bad.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
