L’accesso degli immigrati ai servizi finanziari nel prisma della tutela del consumatore vulnerabile

The article aims to analyse the issues linked to migrant’s financial exclusion, linking these issues with the general topic of consumer vulnerability. In particular, the article provides a critical assessment of both european law and european case law, which in the fields of unfair commercial practices and unfair terms focus on the protection of the average consumer. However, according to a recent ruling of the Court of Justice of European Union average consumer’s concept should take into account more realistic features. After an analysis of the recent reform of spanish consumer law, the article finally suggests some reforms to the current regulatory framework of financial services
