This article focuses on the anonymous misogynistic poem "Sinaxarion of the Noble Women." In preparation for a new critical edition of the text, reference is made to studies on the Synaxarion, particularly N. M. Panagiotakis's observations on its sources. The poem also features several “medieval exempla” of women, demonstrating the author's exceptional compositional skill, precision, and expressive freedom. While demonstrating knowledge of other texts, the author creates an original work.
