Alcuni spunti di riflessione sui recenti interventi normativi in materia di benessere degli animali

This paper, on the basis of the evolution of the regulatory framework (international, Union and national) for the protection of animal welfare – able to convey, today, in the same intervention, biocentric components and anthropocentric components – deals with analyzing the impact and the repercussions on the national legal system of the issue of the constitutional revision Law n. 1/2022. This rule, in addition to mod- ifying the original structure of the constitutionally guaranteed fundamental values, which today also includes the protection of the environment, ecosystem, biodiversity, animal welfare and attention to future generations, introduces an explicit reservation of state law as regards the ways and forms of animal protection to Article 9 of the Constitution, the rationale and effects of which will be investigated
