The Covid-19 pandemic, along with environmental, economic, and social crises, has brought to light more profoundly the need to reflect on the concept of “care,” which has always been central to social work, but now becomes essential in the daily actions of every individual and across all sectors. The word “care” carries both evocative power and elements of innovation and disruption. The key question that must be asked concerns how care can be defined in contemporary times, why it is important to rethink this concept, and what the potential effects of care on social bonds might be.

Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic, along with environmental, economic, and social crises, has brought to light more profoundly the need to reflect on the concept of “care,” which has always been central to social work, but now becomes essential in the daily actions of every individual and across all sectors. The word “care” carries both evocative power and elements of innovation and disruption. The key question that must be asked concerns how care can be defined in contemporary times, why it is important to rethink this concept, and what the potential effects of care on social bonds might be.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
