Il paesaggio come racconto. Archetipi, prospettive, visioni nel contesto siciliano

It is important to reflect on the relationship between place and story, on the aesthetic implications induced by the logic of living in the landscape, in which figures and objects, together, build unconscious structures of formal meanings. Thus, the story of places and the narration that takes place in them make us understand how there is always an inseparable bond between man and space. To trace possible lines of a story of Sicily, it is useful to try to think about the character of this land, to understand the meanings of a story made of human events, crossings, but also of physical transformations or natural modifications of the territory. A story made of complexity and multiplicity that dissolve in every occasion of narration.

È importante riflettere sul rapporto tra luogo e racconto, sulle implicazioni estetiche indotte dalla logica dell’abitare nel paesaggio, in cui figure e oggetti, insieme, costruiscono inconsapevoli strutture di significati formali. Così, il racconto dei luoghi e la narrazione che in essi si svolge fanno comprendere come sempre esista un legame inscindibile tra l’uomo e lo spazio. Per tracciare possibili linee di un racconto della Sicilia, è utile provare a ragionare sul carattere di questa terra, comprendere i significati di una storia fatta di vicende umane, attraversamenti, ma anche di trasformazioni fisiche o modificazioni naturali del territorio. Storia fatta di complessità e molteplicità che si sciolgono in ogni occasione di narrazione.
