La creatività tra arte e filosofia

The key word “creativity” suggests that we return to the origins of Western culture, aesthetics being closely linked to philosophy and vice versa. What is true constitutes the object of theoretical philosophy, what is good constitutes the object of practical philosophy and what is beautiful constitutes the object of art; there was therefore a triad, which we find widely and clearly codified in Plato. Therefore, philosophy (in its dual theoretical and practical dimension) has been related to art; philosophy has been conceived as an expression of the logos, while art as an expression of feeling.

La parola chiave “creatività” suggerisce di richiamarci alle origini della cultura occidentale, essendo l’estetica strettamente coniugata alla filosofia e viceversa. Ciò che è vero costituisce l’oggetto della filosofia teorica, ciò che è bene costituisce l’oggetto della filosofia pratica e ciò che è bello costituisce l’oggetto dell’arte; si aveva quindi una triade, che troviamo ampiamente e chiaramente codificata in Platone. Perciò la filosofia (nella sua duplice dimensione teorica e pratica) è stata rapportata all’arte; la filosofia è stata concepita come espressione del logos, mentre l’arte come espressione del sentimento.
