Abstract

The proposed reflection refers to a research project developed during the PhD in Architecture, Arts and Planning at the University of Palermo, Interactions. Kamarina and the rural area of Ragusa. Starting from the planning of the rediscovery of the archaeological ruins, a ‘project over time’ is proposed, which develops in three phases during which the vegetation takes on the dual role of protective factor of the buried city and narration of the site. The essence of the project consists in “revelation” and is aimed at the past, present and future at the same time.
