This preliminary report explores the bioarchaeological and palaeopathological record of the 1st century CE necropolis of Vada Volaterrana (Leghorn, Tuscany, Italy). We present information on the studied population’s demography, bone preservation, and more prominent pathologies, all of which are currently being subjected to a more in-depth study.
