Aldo Capitini’s education for nonviolence is reconsidered in the light of the emergencies of today's society crossed by new conflicts that seem to threaten the survival of humanity. He, with a long view, fights throughout his life for the promotion of a culture of peace through non-violent education to be introduced in all places of education to transform the reality marked by violence into a peaceful world. He indicates the tools, methods and techniques necessary for an educational praxis that frees reality from all forms of violence and permanently realises the unity of love that is born from the coexistence of every living creatures, the original condition of coexistence on the basis of which openness to others according to the logic of gift becomes pre-eminent.
