The writing constitutes a reflection on the state of the art of doctoral research in Italian universities in the field of architecture starting from the important census constituted by the third national conference "Research that changes". In particular, it reasons on the topic starting from a key word, Community, used as a paradigm to critically analyze a range of doctoral research which also has a reflection on this lemma as its background.
Lo scritto costituisce una riflessione sullo stato dell'arte delle ricerche dottorali delle università italiane nel campo dell'architettura a partire dall'importante censimento costituito dal terzo convegno nazionale "La ricerca che cambia". Esso in particolare ragiona sul tema a partire da una parola chiave, Comunità, usata come paradigma per analizzare criticamente un ventaglio di ricerche dottorali che hanno come sfondo anche una riflessione su questo lemma.
